Insulation

There is so much to gain by properly insulating your home. Heat loss is literally wasted energy and money like a running tap.

It's clear that proper insulation lowers bills and reduces carbon footprints, but there are other advantages too. It can increase your property's value, improve its EPC rating, and reduce noise.

Solid Wall Insulation

You could reduce heating bills by up to 50% if your home has solid walls. Approximately one-third of UK homes have solid walls, which can lose an estimated 45% of their heat.

Internal wall insulation (IWI) involves fixing thermal insulating plasterboard to internal walls exposed to the outside, reducing heat loss and enhancing energy efficiency.

Cavity Wall Insulation

Save up to 45% of heat loss in an average semi-detached house, significantly lowering heating costs.

Cavity wall insulation fills the gap in cavity walls drastically increasing energy efficiently and promoting dryer conditions on internal walls.

Room-in-Roof Insulation

With 25% of heat lost through the roof, insulating a converted loft is a key way to reduce energy use and cut bills. Unlike loft insulation, this method is for spaces used as rooms.

Room-in-roof insulation prevents heat from escaping through the roof and keeps cold air out.

Loft Insulation

Uninsulated homes lose 25% of their heat through the roof. Loft insulation involves laying mineral wool between and over loft joists, providing long-lasting energy savings.

The new standard is 300mm in depth for maximum efficiency.
